Collaborative Teaching Session on Law of Property

Ms. Ruby Zenilda Luis, Assistant Professor and Ms. Afshan Bi, Assistant Professor engaged a collaborative teaching session for the Second Year B.A.LL.B. students on Thursday, the 30th of March 2023. The session was engaged in Hall No. 2 on the second floor of G. R. Kare College of Law.

The topic covered at the session was “Mortgage” under the Transfer of Property Act, 1882. Ms. Ruby Zenilda Luis, Assistant Professor and Ms. Afshan Bi, Assistant Professor began the session at 11:20 am, discussing the concept of Mortgage. Assistant Professor Ruby Zenilda Luis explained the essentials of Mortgage and further went on to explain the different kinds of Mortgages. She gave illustrations and brought out the difference between the various kinds of Mortgage. The students were interactive and answered questions posed by the faculty making the session lively and interesting.

The aim of the collaborative session was to enlighten the students about the essentials and kinds of Mortgage under the Transfer of property Act, 1882.

Around 42 students of the Second year B.A.LL.B. were present for the collaborative session.
