1st CRISIS CONTROL INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION, 2022

The 1st Crisis Control International Competition, 2022 (CCIC) an online event organized by VVM’s Govind Ramnath Kare College of Law, Margao-Goa, India in association with School of Legal Studies, BCAS Campus, Sri Lanka for international law institutions has taken competing between teams from Law Colleges to a whole new level. CCIC was conducted over two days from 11th and 12th March 2022. The inaugural and orientation was held on 11th March 2022 from 18:00H IST to 19:30 H IST. The discourse – competition commenced on 12th March 2022 from 9:30 H IST to 16:30 H IST. This unique discourse-competition enabled participating teams to present a solution to an international crisis through knowledge sessions and brainstorming by a team on a proposition disclosed for a limited period of time has showcased a totally different ball game of skills. The faculty co-coordinator was Assistant professor Vaibhavi Rane, incharge of International Law Society which initiated CCIC.

12 teams (3 members) from India and abroad participated and the team from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka and the team from SDM Law College, Mangalore, India – the winners in their respective categories.

The knowledge session was conducted by reputed academicians – Prof. Jasmeet Gulati from the Jindal Global Law School, Haryana and Asst. Prof. Shivani Rajesh from the Symbiosis Law School as resource persons at the Webinar and as a jury panel.

It was a moment of pride to be addressed by Prof. Marian Pinheiro, Former Dean of the Faculty of Law, Goa University as Chief Guest at the valedictory session.
