Orientation Session for First Year B.A.LL.B Students

VVM’s G. R. Kare College of Law organized an orientation programme for the newly admitted FY BA.LL.B. students on 16th June 2025 at 8:30 AM in the G. D. Auditorium. The session aimed to familiarize students with the academic structure, institutional values, and facilities available on campus.

Dr. Maria Goretti Simoes, Officiating Principal, delivered the welcome address, emphasizing the importance of discipline, appropriate behaviour, and commitment to institutional values.

Dr. Shruti Nadkarni, Vice Principal and Head of Department, guided the students through the academic framework, including the curriculum, attendance norms, and internal assessment patterns.

Asst. Prof. Ashmita Naik, class mentor, introduced the mentoring process followed by the institution.

Mr. Manoj Hede, Director of Physical Education and Sports, highlighted the sports facilities available on campus and motivated students to participate in intercollegiate sports events.

Mr. Anand Salve, Librarian, familiarized students with the functioning of the college library.

The program concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Asst. Prof. Ashmita Naik.
