GRKCL celebrates International Day of Yoga

The Department of Physical Education and Sports of G.R. Kare College of Law organized a series of yoga sessions for students and staff on the occasion of the International Day of Yoga. This year, three distinct sessions were conducted over two days.
Day 1 – 20th June 2025
The first session was led by Shri Suresh Kumar from Panjim. He highlighted the significance of yoga in enhancing physical and mental well-being. Emphasizing the need to adopt yoga at an early age, he encouraged students to practice it regularly for improved concentration and academic performance.
Day 2 – 21st June 2025
In collaboration with the Urban Health Centre, Margao, the college hosted two sessions. The first was conducted by Mr. Naidu from the Art of Living Foundation (Sri Sri Institute), who guided participants through various yoga practices with focus on breathwork and inner calm.
The second session was conducted by Mr. Manoj Hede and Mr. Omkar Gaonkar specifically for the teaching and non-teaching staff.
All sessions included practical demonstrations and ensured active participation of both students and staff, making the celebration meaningful and engaging.
