About Us

Govind Ramnath Kare College of Law was established in the year 1979 when acute need was felt to enable aspirants from South Goa to pursue legal education without having to travel to far away Panaji for the same. Initially the institution was affiliated to the Bombay University until the birth of the Goa University, to which it is affiliated today. What started off in a rental premises in a humble way in Borda-Margao has today grown into an independent multi-storeyed building which is well-equipped in terms of infrastructure, library facilities etc. and a well-qualified and competent faculty.
